Therefore, it publishes papers that promote new ideas, models, approaches, and paradigms by contributing to the advances in knowledge and theory of Language and tourism. The scope of this journal are: (1) Foreign Language Study and teaching; (2) Study of Indonesian Language, Regional Language and or its teaching; (3) Study of the development of tourism in Indonesia; (4) Study of tourism material, and; (5) Study of tourism HR development.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">The journal covers applied research studies and review articles, both in a format of the full-length articles and research notes. Applied research studies are expected to examine relationships among variables relevant to langage and tourism by employing appropriate analytical or statistical techniques. High-quality review articles that address the latest advances and develop theoretical knowledge or thinking about key aspects of hospitality and tourism are accepted. A good tourism educational institution will also produce good graduates, as candidates for quality tourism human resources. Thus efforts to improve tourism human resources begin with efforts to improve the quality of tourism education. This study analyzes how education is managed in tourism vocational higher education institutions, especialy at the NHI Bandung Tourism Academy and at Nusantara Jaya Depok Tourism Academy. The research method uses a qualitative approach with observation techniques, documentation studies and in-depth interviews with stakeholders. It consists of directors, heads of study programs, lecturers, practice instructors, heads of internal quality assurance, and students at the two institutions that are the locus of research. The results of the study show that to produce graduates who are ready to work and have experience working in the industry, tourism higher institutions must collaborate with the hospitality industry in implementing integrated practical learning (work based learning). This form of collaboration is realized by involving industrial practitioners in a number of activities, including: 1) Curriculum development and alignment; 2) Formation of a Steering Committee; 3) Teaching practitioner program; 4) Implementaion on the job training; 5) Sending students to part-time work program (casual); and 6) Guest lecture from industry practitioners. This study aims to determine the form of planning, implementation, evaluation and strategy owned by community-based sport rafting event in Lahat Regency in managing it as a Sports Tourism-based tourist destination. The method used is the mix method, which is a combination of quantitative and qualitative. For the quantitative approach, data collection techniques were used using random sampling with accidental sampling, while for the qualitative approach, data collection techniques were used using non-probability sampling with accidental sampling. For representative results, researchers took a number of </em><em>35</em><em> respondents. Analysis of the data used through the Miles and Huberman models. To test the validity using the triangulation method. Library research is used in this paper with a qualitative descriptive analysis approach. The results of the study show the mayority potential tourism in Surakarta are cultural tourism and nature reserves. Covid-19 pandemic desease in Surakarta represent a tourist visitor decrease. The strategy carried out by the government through Dinas Pariwisata is to hold competitions and events online. Some tourism objects are still open with operating hours that have been determined in the Surat Edaran from Surakarta Mayor number: 067/1869 dated June 14, 2021. This paper proposes that, such competitions and events should continue and be added by using virtual tours. Social restrictions during the pandemic are slowly shifting to patterns of life in the new normal era. Behavior in the social order began to experience new adaptations, as well as in terms of travel. Previously, tourists tended to be in groups or in groups when carrying out travel activities, which changed with this new normal era. Solo traveler is a new trend in the world of tourism for reasons of safety and health. A self-contained experience with nature-based attractions that mostly resonate with millennial travelers. A solo traveler is a traveler who travels alone, even though the trip will establish new relationships with other people. Generation Y, also known as the millennial generation, is an actor in solo travelers where this generation has unique characteristics in lifestyle, attitudes, and a tendency to be open to all new sources of information. The emergence of the millennial generation is marked by the process of globalization that gave birth to gadgets. The formulation of the research problem is what is the trend of solo travelers from the perspective of the millennial generation and how is their interest in traveling in the new normal era. The purpose of this research is to explore the trends and interests of solo travelers from the perspective of the millennial generation in traveling on its period. Key informants in this study were internal informants from 3 managers from the selected tourism industry, as well as external informants, namely 15 solo travelers from the millennial generation aged 20-30 years as eligible sources who have roles as students, early jobbers or young parents to provide information. information about interest in traveling in the new normal era from each tourist attraction. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative data analysis which is carried out interactively through the process of data reduction, data display, and verification. The data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. Data analysis stage using ethnosociolinguistic techniques. This study resulted in three linguistic codes for immigrant communities in Roomo Pesisir, Gresik Regency with details: 1) Indonesian; 2) Javanese (ngoko and krama); 3) Madurese (rough) language and seven patterns of language choice in the daily interactions of the migrant community in Roomo Pesisir, Gresik Regency. The seven patterns of language choice are 1) everyday language in the family; 2) language at school/workplace; 3) talk to other immigrants from the same area; 4) Language at the time of the event (celebration, posyandu, vaccination, recitation, etc.); 5) language with parents; 6) language based on ethnicity; 7) Language according to social status (education/position). The seven language patterns are the result of friction from speakers who use three languages ​​simultaneously.</em></p> <p><strong>Keywords</strong>: <em>Language Code; Language Pattern; Madurese Language; Pendalungan Community</em></p> <p>Abstrak</p> <p>Artikel ini merupakan kajian yang mengkaji tentang kode kebahasaan yang digunakan oleh masyarakat pendatang daerah Tapal Kuda Jawa Timur yang biasa dikenal dengan kelompok Pendalungan (hasil akulturasi budaya dewasa dan budaya Jawa yang bertempat tinggal dan menetap di daerah pesisir, di Desa Roomo Pesisir, Gresik, beserta pola bahasa yang mereka hasilkan ketika berinteraksi dengan masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif karena memberikan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau lisan orang dan perilaku yang mereka hasilkan yang dapat diamati. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Tahap analisis data menggunakan teknik etnososiolinguistik Penelitian ini menghasilkan tiga kode kebahasaan bagi masyarakat pendatang di Roomo Pesisir Kabupaten Gresik dengan rincian: 1) Bahasa Indonesia; 2) bahasa Jawa (ngoko dan krama); 3) Bahasa Madura (kasar) dan tujuh pola pilihan bahasa dalam interaksi sehari-hari komunitas pendatang di Roomo Pesisir, Kabupaten Gresik. Ketujuh pola pilihan bahasa tersebut adalah 1) bahasa sehari-hari dalam keluarga; 2) bahasa di sekolah/tempat kerja; 3) berbicara dengan imigran lain dari daerah yang sama; 4) Bahasa pada saat acara (perayaan, posyandu, vaksinasi, pengajian, dll); 5) bahasa dengan orang tua; 6) bahasa berdasarkan suku; 7) Bahasa menurut status sosial (pendidikan/jabatan). Tourism itself is a sector that can utilise community capital to develop the tourism itself. One of the community capitals that can be used as a tourism attraction is social capital. Social capital is owned by regions that develop tourism, one of which is the Pentingsari Tourism Village. This research aims to describe the role of social capital in tourism development in the Pentingsari Tourism Village. The method used in this research is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data collection methods used are observation and interviews. The analysis carried out is descriptive analysis. The results of this research describe that social capital has a role in tourism development in Pentingsari Tourism Village through a social system where in principle the community develops tourism together and enjoys the benefits together as well. The system that becomes social capital is a rotating system for providing homestay and food for tourists. The unique characteristic of historical tourism is that the power of narratives poses a broader need for means of interpretation in the form of travel guides. By applying the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), this applied research reveals the process of designing electronic guidebooks that can aim to be used for the interpretation of historical tourism visitors in The City of Bandung. The design method with a descriptive writing pattern is used to produce research reports on the design of electronic guidebook products in Bandung. This applied study has gathered opinions from 132 respondents through questionnaires about the components of travel guidebooks following the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) concept, which is then analyzed descriptively. This village was appointedthe Best Tourism Village in 2015. accommodationservicesare very important to be studied in order to get the right formulation for the development of accommodation in this district. Research held three months, from 1st July until 1st October 2021, technique data collection are observation, interviews, and literature study. The results are presented in the form of a description or descriptive. The results of the research from ten lodgement in Arborek Village have almost the same characteristics, ranging from building materials to the location of the accomodation arrangement, the lodgement has not fully implemented the concept of ecotourism towards development and sustainable (sustainable tourism) especially the ecological pillar because there is no waste management -plastic waste that cannot be recycled but this plastic waste is burned so that it can cause pollution.
